1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Age Calculator Easy ("the App"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download, install, or use the App.

Age Calculator Easy is developed and operated by Storq Labs BV ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in the Netherlands.

2. Description of Service

Age Calculator Easy is a mobile application that calculates a user's age based on a selected date of birth and an "as-of" date. The App enables users to:

• Select a date of birth using a native date picker
• Set an "as of" date (defaults to today, resettable)
• Calculate exact age in years, months, and days
• Calculate total days alive
• Calculate days until next birthday
• Celebrate birthdays with a confetti animation when the user's birthday matches the as-of date
• Copy age details to the clipboard

All data is stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to your date of birth or any other data.

3. Intended Use and Audience

This App is designed for general audiences of all ages who want to calculate their age or see how many days until their next birthday.

4. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may NOT:

• Copy, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the App to develop a competing product or service
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security or access control features
• Use the App for any official age verification, legal, medical, or government purpose

5. No Account Required

The App does not require account creation or login. All data is stored locally on your device via AsyncStorage. We do not collect, store, or have access to your date of birth or any other data you enter.

6. Calculation Limitations and Disclaimer

You acknowledge and agree that:

• All calculations are based on the dates you enter and standard calendar math
• Results may vary slightly due to timezone differences, leap year handling, and daylight saving time
• "Total days alive" is an approximation and may not account for all edge cases
• "Days until next birthday" is based on the selected as-of date, not necessarily today
• The birthday confetti feature triggers based on date matching and may not account for timezone variations
• Results depend entirely on the accuracy of user-entered dates — incorrect inputs produce incorrect outputs
• You are solely responsible for verifying your age through official channels
• We are not liable for any actions taken based on the App's calculations

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to use the App to:

• Verify age for legal, medical, insurance, or government purposes
• Make decisions that require certified or official age verification
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to circumvent any security or access control measures
• Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the App
• Attempt to bypass, remove, or circumvent ad display functionality without purchasing the "Remove Ads" upgrade

8. Advertisements

The free version of the App displays non-personalized banner advertisements via Google AdMob. By using the free version, you consent to the display of these advertisements.

We are not responsible for the content of advertisements displayed by Google AdMob. If you find an ad objectionable, please report it directly to Google.

9. In-App Purchases

9.1 Remove Ads (One-Time Purchase)

The App offers a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase to remove all advertisements. Once purchased, ads are permanently removed from the App.

9.2 Payment Processing

All purchases are processed exclusively through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect, process, or store any payment information. By making a purchase, you agree to the respective store's terms and conditions.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTY THAT:

• Age calculations will be accurate for your specific circumstances
• Total days alive or days until next birthday will be precisely correct
• The birthday detection and confetti feature will function correctly in all timezones and edge cases
• The App will meet your requirements or expectations
• The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Any errors in the App will be corrected
• The App will be compatible with your device or operating system

11. Limitation of Liability

SPECIFICALLY, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:

• Inaccurate age calculations or date computations
• Decisions made based on the App's calculations
• Failed birthday detection or confetti animation
• Data loss from device failure or app uninstallation
• Third-party ad content displayed via Google AdMob
• Any consequences arising from use of the App for official or legal age verification

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

• The amount you actually paid for the "Remove Ads" purchase; or
• Five US Dollars ($5.00)

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Storq Labs BV and its officers, directors, employees, agents, partners, suppliers, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your use of the App
• Decisions made based on the App's age calculations
• Use of the App for official or legal age verification purposes
• Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law
• Any claim by a third party related to your use of the App

13. Modifications, Termination & Service Availability

13.1 Modifications to the App

We reserve the absolute right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any features thereof) at any time, with or without notice, for any reason. This includes calculation methods, features, and ad display. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

13.2 Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

13.3 Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your license to use the App terminates immediately.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Subject to the arbitration provisions in Section 15, any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Netherlands.

15. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

15.1 Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal dispute resolution, you agree to first contact us at legal@storqlabs.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 60 days.

15.2 Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution is unsuccessful, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be finally resolved by binding arbitration administered by a mutually agreed-upon arbitration body under its rules then in effect.

15.3 Class Action Waiver

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. You expressly waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

16. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, strikes, shortages of transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials, failure of telecommunications or information systems, or any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

18. Waiver

The failure of Storq Labs BV to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective only if in writing and signed by Storq Labs BV.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by us on the App, constitute the entire agreement between you and Storq Labs BV regarding the App and supersede any prior agreements, communications, or understandings, whether oral or written, regarding the subject matter hereof.
