Plain Language Summary
Your baby's data never leaves your device. Baby Sleep Planner does not collect, store, or transmit any data to our servers. Everything — your baby's name, birthdate, sleep logs, feeding logs, and diaper logs — is stored locally on your device only. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no third-party tracking. We literally cannot see your data.
1. Introduction and Data Controller
Welcome to Baby Sleep Planner ("the App"), a mobile sleep prediction and event logging application for parents, developed by Storq Labs BV ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in the Netherlands.
This Privacy Policy explains our data practices and your rights. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Important Note: Because all data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to us, we do not process any personal data in connection with the App's core functionality. We have no servers, no databases, and no way to access or retrieve information you enter into the App.
2. Data We Collect
2.1 Information Stored Locally on Your Device Only
The following data is entered by you and stored exclusively on your device. This data is never transmitted to Storq Labs servers:

We cannot access, view, retrieve, or recover any of the data listed above under any circumstances. This data exists only on your device and is permanently deleted when you uninstall the app or use "Reset All Data" in Settings.
2.2 Data We Do NOT Collect
We want to be absolutely clear about what we do NOT collect:
- No personal identification — No parent names, emails, phone numbers, or addresses
- No user accounts — No sign-up, login, or authentication system
- No analytics or behavioral tracking — No Firebase, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar analytics SDKs
- No crash reporting — No Sentry, Crashlytics, or similar crash SDKs
- No advertising data — No ads whatsoever, no advertising SDKs
- No location data — We do not request or use GPS or location services
- No biometric data — No fingerprints, face scans, or voice recordings
- No health data via HealthKit/Google Fit — We do not integrate with any health data platforms
- No contacts or address book access
- No photos or media — No camera or photo library access
- No browsing history
- No network calls — The app has zero network calls for its core functionality
2.3 Automatic Data Collection by Third-Party Services
Currently, the app does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No data is automatically collected by any third party through the App.
We reserve the right to add analytics or crash reporting services in future versions. If we do so, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect those changes before any data collection begins.

4. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with the following third-party services:
Expo Store Review (expo-store-review)
Purpose: Triggers the native App Store review dialog so users can rate the app.
Data Handling: No data is collected. Uses Apple's built-in StoreKit review API only.
Expo Notifications (expo-notifications)
Purpose: Schedules local push notifications on-device for wind-down reminders.
Data Handling: No data is sent to any server. Notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on-device. There is no remote notification server.
Expo Haptics (expo-haptics)
Purpose: Triggers device vibration feedback for interactions. No data is involved.
No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs are used.
5. How Your Data Is Used
Data stored locally on your device is used exclusively for:
- Calculating predicted nap and bedtime windows based on your baby's age and logged patterns
- Generating "What to Try Next" recommendations (gentle, conditional-language suggestions)
- Producing sleep insights and explanations based on logged patterns
- Displaying weekly charts (sleep bars, bedtime trends, daily activity breakdown)
- Scheduling local wind-down reminder notifications before predicted sleep times
- Remembering your app preferences and onboarding state
All predictions and calculations are performed locally on your device. No data ever leaves your device or is transmitted to any server.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:
- Delete Individual Events: Remove any logged event at any time within the app
- Reset All Data: Use Settings > Reset All Data to clear everything
- Uninstall: Removing the app permanently deletes all locally stored data
Data Recovery: We cannot recover deleted data because we never had access to it. If you delete data or uninstall the app, it is permanently gone unless you have a device backup. There is no cloud backup, sync, or account system.
7. Your Rights Under GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Because your data is stored locally and not processed by us, you exercise these rights directly through the app:

8. California Users (CCPA)

- Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell personal information
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We do not discriminate against users who exercise their privacy rights
Do Not Sell My Personal Information: We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with any third parties.
9. International Data Transfers
Your data never leaves your device. There are no international data transfers because no data is transmitted to any server, anywhere in the world.
10. Data Security
Your data is stored locally on your device using standard platform storage mechanisms (AsyncStorage). The security of your data depends on:
- Your device's security settings (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
- Your operating system's security features
- Physical security of your device
Security Disclaimer: While we have designed the app with privacy in mind by keeping all data local, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of locally stored data. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device.
11. Children's Privacy and Data About Infants
Baby Sleep Planner is designed for adult parents and caregivers of babies aged 0–18 months. The App is not directed at children under 13 years of age and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Regarding Data About Infants
The App processes information about infants (name, birthdate, sleep patterns, feeding patterns, diaper changes). This information is:
- Entered by the parent/caregiver (not by the child)
- Stored only on the parent's device
- Never transmitted to Storq Labs or any third party
- Fully deletable at any time by the parent via Settings > Reset All Data
Because all data is stored locally on-device and we do not collect any data to our servers, the developer never has access to information about any infant or child. COPPA obligations regarding collection of children's data do not apply because no data is collected by the developer.
12. Important Disclaimers
NOT MEDICAL ADVICE
This app provides sleep predictions, wake window estimates, and gentle suggestions for informational purposes only. It is NOT a medical device, NOT a substitute for professional pediatric care, and does NOT diagnose or treat any condition. Always consult your pediatrician or a qualified healthcare provider for medical advice regarding your baby's sleep, health, or development.
NOT A BABY MONITOR OR SAFETY DEVICE
This app does NOT monitor your baby in any way. It does not track breathing, movement, heart rate, or any physiological data. Safe sleep practices, including following AAP safe sleep guidelines, are entirely the parent's responsibility. Never use this app as a substitute for direct supervision of your infant.
No Guarantee of Prediction Accuracy
The predictive engine provides estimates based on general pediatric sleep norms and user-logged data. Every baby is different. Predictions may not be accurate for your baby, especially with limited data. The developer makes no warranty that predictions will be correct or suitable for any particular baby.
User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for all decisions regarding your baby's sleep, feeding, and care. The developer is not responsible for any outcomes resulting from use of this app.
13. Service Availability & Discontinuation
IMPORTANT: BABY SLEEP PLANNER MAY BE DISCONTINUED AT ANY TIME WITHOUT NOTICE. WE MAKE NO GUARANTEE OF CONTINUED AVAILABILITY.
By using this app, you acknowledge that:
- We may discontinue the App at any time without prior notice
- We make no guarantee of continued service availability
- All locally stored data will remain on your device but the app may become inaccessible
- No refunds will be provided upon discontinuation except where required by law
14. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting with an updated effective date. For significant changes, we may provide notice through the app or App Store update notes.
Your continued use of the app after any changes indicates acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
