Plain Language Summary
Your financial data stays on your device. Debt Payoff Planner Plus does not collect, store, or transmit any of your debt information to our servers. All your debts, payments, and settings are stored locally on your device only. The only third-party services we use are Google AdMob for displaying non-personalized ads (in the free version) and Apple/Google for processing the Remove Ads in-app purchase.
1. Introduction and Data Controller
Welcome to Debt Payoff Planner Plus ("the App"), a mobile personal finance planning tool developed by Storq Labs BV ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in the Netherlands.
This Privacy Policy explains our data practices and your rights. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Important Note: Because all your financial data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to us, we do not process personal financial data in connection with the App's core functionality.
2. Data We Collect
2.1 Information Stored Locally on Your Device Only
The following data is entered by you and stored exclusively on your device. This data is never transmitted to Storq Labs servers:

We cannot access, view, retrieve, or recover any of the data listed above under any circumstances. This data exists only on your device and is permanently deleted when you uninstall the app.
2.2 Data We Do NOT Collect
We want to be absolutely clear about what we do NOT collect:
- No personal identification - No names, emails, phone numbers, or addresses
- No financial account information - No bank account numbers, credit card numbers, or login credentials
- No biometric data - No fingerprints, face scans, or voice recordings
- No location data - We do not request or use GPS or location services
- No health data - No health, fitness, or medical information
- No contacts or address book access
- No photos or media - No camera or photo library access
- No browsing history
- No analytics or behavioral tracking - No Firebase, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar analytics SDKs
- No crash reporting - No crash reporting SDK
- No user accounts - No sign-up, login, or authentication system
2.3 Automatic Data Collection by Third-Party Services
The free version of the App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. Google may automatically collect certain device information for ad serving purposes:
- Device identifiers (advertising ID)
- Device information (OS version, device model)
- IP address
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
Important: We have configured AdMob to serve non-personalized ads only. This means ads are not targeted based on your browsing history or interests. You can eliminate all ad-related data collection by purchasing the Remove Ads upgrade ($1.99).

4. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with the following third-party services:
Google AdMob (react-native-google-mobile-ads)
Purpose: Serve banner and interstitial advertisements in the free version of the app.
Data Handling: Ads are configured as non-personalized. Google may collect device identifiers, device info, IP address, and ad interaction data for serving and measuring ads.
How to Opt Out: Purchase the Remove Ads upgrade ($1.99) to completely disable all advertising and associated data collection.

Apple App Store / Google Play Store (In-App Purchases)
Purpose: Processing the one-time $1.99 Remove Ads in-app purchase.
Data Handling: All purchase transactions are processed entirely by Apple or Google. We receive only a confirmation of purchase status (not payment information).
Expo Store Review
Purpose: Prompt users to rate the app in the App Store or Play Store.
Data Handling: No data is collected. Uses the native OS review dialog only.
5. How Your Data Is Used
Data stored locally on your device is used exclusively for:
- Calculating debt payoff timelines using Snowball or Avalanche strategies
- Generating payment schedules and projections
- Running "what-if" scenarios for extra payments
- Tracking your payment history and progress
- Sending local payment reminder notifications
- Displaying milestone celebrations
- Remembering your currency and app preferences
All calculations are performed locally on your device. No financial data ever leaves your device or is transmitted to any server.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:
- Edit or Delete Individual Debts: Modify or remove debts at any time within the app
- Clear All Data: Use the reset option in Settings to clear all data
- Uninstall: Removing the app permanently deletes all locally stored data
Data Recovery: We cannot recover deleted data because we never had access to it. If you delete data or uninstall the app, it is permanently gone unless you have a device backup. There is no cloud backup, sync, or account system.
7. Your Rights Under GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Because your financial data is stored locally and not processed by us, you exercise these rights directly through the app:

8. California Users (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Right to Know: We do not collect personal financial information to our servers, so there is nothing to disclose
- Right to Delete: Delete data in the app or uninstall
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell personal information
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We do not discriminate against users who exercise their privacy rights
Do Not Sell My Personal Information: We do not sell your personal information. The non-personalized ads displayed in the free version do not constitute a "sale" under CCPA.
9. International Data Transfers
Your financial data stored in the app never leaves your device. However, Google AdMob (in the free version) may transfer data internationally for ad serving purposes. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details on their international data transfer practices.
10. Data Security
Your data is stored locally on your device using standard platform storage mechanisms (AsyncStorage). The security of your data depends on:
- Your device's security settings (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
- Your operating system's security features
- Physical security of your device
Security Disclaimer: While we have designed the app with privacy in mind by keeping all data local, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of locally stored data. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device.
11. Children's Privacy
Debt Payoff Planner Plus is a personal finance tool designed for adults (target audience: U.S. consumers aged 25-45 carrying multiple debts). This app is not directed at children under 13 years of age and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Because all data is stored locally on-device and we do not collect any data to our servers, there is no risk of inadvertently collecting children's information.

This app provides mathematical calculations and debt repayment projections for informational and educational purposes only. It does NOT constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. We are not financial advisors, and the app should not be used as a substitute for professional financial guidance. Consult qualified financial professionals for personalized advice.
No Guarantee of Accuracy
Calculations are based on user-provided inputs and standard amortization formulas. Actual results may vary due to interest rate changes, fees, penalties, payment timing, or other factors not accounted for in the app.
User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. The developer is not responsible for any financial outcomes resulting from use of this app.
13. Service Availability & Discontinuation
IMPORTANT: DEBT PAYOFF PLANNER PLUS MAY BE DISCONTINUED AT ANY TIME WITHOUT NOTICE. WE MAKE NO GUARANTEE OF CONTINUED AVAILABILITY.
By using this app, you acknowledge that:
- We may discontinue the App at any time without prior notice
- We make no guarantee of continued service availability
- All locally stored data will remain on your device but the app may become inaccessible
- No refunds will be provided upon discontinuation except where required by law
14. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting with an updated effective date. For significant changes, we may provide notice through the app or App Store/Play Store update notes.
Your continued use of the app after any changes indicates acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
