1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Loan Calculator Simple ("the App"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download, install, or use the App.

Loan Calculator Simple is developed and operated by Storq Labs BV ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in the Netherlands.

2. Description of Service

Loan Calculator Simple is a mobile application designed to help users estimate loan payments and costs. The App enables users to:

• Calculate monthly payments for amortized loans based on user-entered principal, APR, and term
• View total interest and total cost over the life of a loan
• Generate a full amortization schedule showing principal, interest, and remaining balance per payment
• Share loan summaries as plain text via the native share sheet
• Use locale-aware number formatting for decimal and grouping separators

All data is stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to your loan calculation data.

3. Intended Use and Audience

This App is designed for general adult audiences evaluating loans, including but not limited to homebuyers, students, car buyers, and anyone comparing loan options.

This App is NOT a substitute for professional financial advice, mortgage counseling, or certified financial planning. It is an estimation tool to help you understand approximate loan costs.

4. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may NOT:

• Copy, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the App to develop a competing product or service
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Use the App to provide professional financial advisory services without proper licensure

5. No Account Required

The App does not require account creation or login. All data is stored locally on your device via AsyncStorage. We do not collect, store, or have access to your loan calculation data. There are no social features, cloud sync, or user accounts.

6. Calculation Limitations and Disclaimer

You acknowledge and agree that:

• All calculations use a standard amortization formula based on user-entered principal, APR, and term
• The app converts APR to a monthly rate by dividing by 12; actual lender calculations may use different day-count conventions
• Minor rounding differences may occur versus lender amortization schedules
• The app does NOT account for: variable interest rates, origination fees, closing costs, prepayment penalties, escrow payments, property taxes, insurance, PMI, or other charges
• Results depend entirely on the accuracy of user-entered values — incorrect inputs produce incorrect outputs
• You are solely responsible for verifying all calculations with your lender before making financial decisions
• We are not liable for any financial losses or decisions made based on this app's calculations

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to use the App to:

• Provide professional financial advisory services without proper licensure
• Make binding financial commitments based solely on the app's estimates
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to circumvent any security or access control measures
• Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the App
• Scrape, reproduce, or commercially redistribute the App's calculations or interface

8. In-App Purchases and Advertising

8.1 Free Version with Ads

The free version includes full loan calculator functionality with banner and interstitial advertisements displayed via Google AdMob. Third-party ads are not endorsed by Storq Labs. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party advertised products or services.

8.2 Remove Ads ($1.99 USD — Lifetime)

The "Remove Ads" option is available as a one-time non-consumable in-app purchase ($1.99 USD or local equivalent). Once purchased, all advertisements are permanently removed.

8.3 Payment Processing

All purchases are processed exclusively through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect, process, or store any payment information. By making a purchase, you agree to the respective store's terms and conditions.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, graphics, and other materials in the App are owned by Storq Labs BV and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The App name, logo, and branding are trademarks of Storq Labs BV. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, trade names, or other proprietary designations.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTY THAT:

• Loan calculations will be accurate for your specific loan or lender
• Monthly payment estimates will match your actual loan payments
• Interest or total cost calculations will match lender disclosures
• The amortization schedule will exactly match your lender's schedule
• The App will meet your requirements or expectations
• The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Any errors in the App will be corrected
• The App will be compatible with your device or operating system

11. Limitation of Liability

SPECIFICALLY, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:

• Financial decisions or commitments made based on the App's calculations
• Differences between estimated and actual loan payments, interest, or total cost
• Unfavorable loan terms entered into based on the App's estimates
• Any losses from reliance on the App's amortization schedule
• Data loss from device failure or app uninstallation

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

• The amount you actually paid for the "Remove Ads" purchase; or
• Two US Dollars ($2.00)

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Storq Labs BV and its officers, directors, employees, agents, partners, suppliers, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your use of the App
• Financial decisions made based on the App's calculations
• Loan commitments entered into based on the App's estimates
• Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law
• Any claim by a third party related to financial decisions where the App's calculations were used

13. Modifications, Termination & Service Availability

13.1 Modifications to the App

We reserve the absolute right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any features thereof) at any time, with or without notice, for any reason. This includes calculation methods and feature availability. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

13.2 Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

13.3 Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason. Upon termination, your license to use the App terminates immediately.

14. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, strikes, shortages of transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials, failure of telecommunications or information systems, or any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

15. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

15.1 Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal dispute resolution, you agree to first contact us at legal@storqlabs.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 60 days.

15.2 Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution is unsuccessful, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be finally resolved by binding arbitration administered by a mutually agreed-upon arbitration body under its rules then in effect.

15.3 Class Action Waiver

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. You expressly waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Subject to the arbitration provisions in Section 15, any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Netherlands.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

18. Waiver

The failure of Storq Labs BV to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective only if in writing and signed by Storq Labs BV.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by us on the App, constitute the entire agreement between you and Storq Labs BV regarding the App and supersede any prior agreements, communications, or understandings, whether oral or written, regarding the subject matter hereof.
