1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using LoveSignal (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

LoveSignal is developed and operated by Storq Labs BV ("we," "us," or "our"), an independent developer based in the Netherlands.

2. Entertainment Purpose & No Real Detection

You expressly acknowledge and agree that:

• ENTERTAINMENT ONLY: LoveSignal is PURELY for entertainment/amusement purposes
• NO REAL DETECTION: The app does NOT actually detect romantic compatibility, emotions, feelings, chemistry, love signals, or any measurable phenomenon
• RANDOM RESULTS: All results, scores, tiers, and interpretations are randomly generated for entertainment
• NOT SCIENTIFIC: The app has no scientific basis whatsoever
• NOT ADVICE: Results should NEVER be used for relationship decisions, personal decisions, or any other purpose
• METAPHORICAL ONLY: Any references to "detecting" or "scanning" are purely metaphorical and playful
• PARTY GAME: The app is designed as a party game / ice breaker, not a tool or utility

3. Description of Service

LoveSignal is a novelty entertainment app that:

• Generates random "compatibility scores" with fun interpretations
• Uses device sensors (microphone levels, motion) to create an immersive scanning experience
• Allows sharing of result cards as images
• Stores scan history locally on your device
• Works completely offline

4. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works based on the App without our prior written consent. We reserve all rights not expressly granted in these Terms.

5. No Reliance & User Responsibility

You acknowledge and agree that:

• NO RELIANCE: You must not rely on results for any purpose whatsoever
• NO ACCURACY: We make NO claims about accuracy (because there is none - results are random)
• USER RESPONSIBILITY: You are solely responsible for how you interpret or use results
• NO GUARANTEES: No guarantee of any particular outcome or experience
• USER ASSUMES ALL RISK: You assume all risk associated with using the app

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

We specifically disclaim all warranties including, but not limited to:

• Merchantability: No warranty that the App is fit for sale or general use
• Fitness for Particular Purpose: No warranty that the App will meet your specific requirements. We make no representations about suitability for any purpose
• Non-Infringement: No warranty that the App does not infringe third-party rights
• Error-Free Operation: No warranty that the App will operate without errors or interruptions
• Accuracy: No warranty that results, scores, or interpretations are accurate or meaningful (they are random)
• Detection Capability: No warranty of any detection capability (because none exists)
• Availability: No warranty of uninterrupted service or future availability

7. Limitation of Liability

WE DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY. The developer is NOT responsible for:

• Relationship Decisions: Any relationship decisions made based on app results
• Emotional Distress: Any emotional distress from results or interpretations
• Disputes or Conflicts: Any disputes or conflicts arising from sharing results
• Actions Taken: Any actions taken based on app output
• Misunderstandings: Any misunderstandings about the app's capabilities
• Data Loss: Lost scan history or settings
• Device Issues: Battery drain, device overheating, or other device issues
• Third-Party Actions: Actions of other users or third parties

Maximum Liability: OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP ($0.00 USD FOR FREE APPS). LIMITATION OF LIABILITY SHALL APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Sensor Usage

The App may use device sensors to create an immersive experience. You acknowledge and agree that:

• Sensors are used ONLY for entertainment/immersion, NOT for actual detection
• Microphone access monitors audio LEVELS only - no audio is recorded
• Motion sensors create interactive feedback - no data is stored
• Camera (if used) detects face presence only - no images are captured
• All sensor data is processed in real-time and discarded
• Sensor readings do NOT influence the random results

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, design, graphics, and documentation, is protected by intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Storq Labs BV.

10. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Redistribute, sell, or sublicense the App
• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Claim the App provides real detection capabilities
• Use results to make real decisions about relationships or people
• Harass, bully, or harm others using the App or its results
• Use the App for commercial purposes without written consent
• Misrepresent the nature or capabilities of the App to others

11. Indemnification

YOU AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS Storq Labs BV and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any decisions you make based on app results
• Disputes with other users or third parties
• Any claims that you relied on the App for real detection or advice
• Sharing of results with others

12. Age Restrictions

LoveSignal is intended for users aged 13 and older (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. Parental guidance is suggested for younger users.

13. App Availability & Discontinuation

We reserve the absolute right to:

• Discontinue the App entirely at any time without notice
• Modify, add, or remove App features without notice
• Stop providing updates, support, or maintenance at any time
• Remove the App from app stores
• Change these Terms at any time
• Terminate your license to use the App if you violate these Terms

CONTINUED USE CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE of any modifications to these Terms.

14. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution: Before initiating any formal dispute resolution, you agree to contact us at hello@storqlabs.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

Individual Basis: Any disputes shall be resolved on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in class actions or class arbitrations.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.

Users in other jurisdictions use this app at their own risk. We will comply with local laws where legally required but limit liability to the maximum extent permitted by law.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Storq Labs BV regarding the App and supersede any prior agreements. No professional advice is being provided through this App. The App is a game/novelty, not a tool or utility.
