Welcome to Pickleball Scoreboard, an iOS app developed by Storq Labs BV. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

2. Information We Collect

Pickleball Scoreboard stores the following information locally on your device only using AsyncStorage:

• Match Scores: Current and historical match scores
• Game Settings: Point targets (11, 15, or 21), game type (singles/doubles), scoring system preferences
• Team/Player Names: Custom names you enter for teams or players (Pro feature)
• Pro Purchase Status: Whether you have purchased the Pro upgrade, stored locally after Apple confirms the purchase

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be absolutely clear about what we do NOT do:

• We do NOT require user registration or accounts
• We do NOT collect personal information (name, email, phone number)
• We do NOT use analytics or tracking services
• We do NOT display advertisements
• We do NOT share data with third parties
• We do NOT sync data to cloud servers
• We do NOT access your contacts, camera, microphone, or location
• We do NOT use cookies or web tracking
• We do NOT collect device identifiers for tracking purposes
• We do NOT store any data on external servers

4. How the App Works

Pickleball Scoreboard operates entirely on your device:

• All score tracking and calculations happen locally on your device
• Match history is stored in local device storage (AsyncStorage)
• The app keeps your screen awake during active use using expo-keep-awake
• Haptic feedback (device vibration) is used for score updates
• No data is ever sent to our servers or any third-party servers

5. Third-Party Services

Pickleball Scoreboard uses minimal third-party services:

• Apple In-App Purchase: Handles all payment processing for the Pro upgrade. Apple's privacy policy applies to purchase transactions. We do not receive or store any payment information.
• Expo/React Native: The framework used to build the app. No data is transmitted to Expo servers in production builds.

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple's privacy policy and terms of service apply to the download and installation process.

6. Data Storage and Deletion

All data is stored locally on your device:

• Data persists until you delete the app
• No server-side storage exists
• No backups are made to developer-controlled servers
• iCloud backup behavior is controlled by your device settings

To delete all app data:

• Simply uninstall the app from your device

There is no data stored on our servers to delete because we never collect any data in the first place.

7. Children's Privacy

Pickleball Scoreboard is not directed at children under 13. However, since we do not collect any personal information from anyone, there is no risk of collecting children's data. The app is safe for all ages to use.

8. International Users

Since we do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data:

• GDPR (EU): No personal data processing occurs. All data remains on your device under your control.
• CCPA (California): We do not sell personal information because we do not collect any.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

10. Service Availability & Discontinuation

By using Pickleball Scoreboard, you acknowledge and agree that:

• We may discontinue the App at any time without prior notice
• We make no guarantee of continued service availability
• Features may be added, changed, or removed at our sole discretion
• We are under no obligation to maintain, update, or support the App
• No refunds will be provided upon service discontinuation except where required by law
• You should not rely on the continued availability of this App
